Welcome to the official home of the Steinbrenner High School Orchestra—a program where musical excellence, collaboration, and tradition come together to inspire the next generation of musicians.

Our orchestra is proud to be recognized as one of Florida’s leading high school ensembles, consistently earning Superiors at Music Performance Assessments and delivering outstanding performances throughout the year. Whether you’re a new student, returning family, or curious community member, we’re excited to welcome you into our musical family.

🎶 A Legacy of Excellence

At Steinbrenner, orchestra is more than just a class—it’s a home for students committed to high-level music-making and personal growth. Our program offers exceptional opportunities both on and off the stage.

We’ve had the honor of performing in Side-by-Side concerts with Jacksonville University and participating in music tours and clinics at Florida State University and Florida Gulf Coast University. Our students have performed and participated in clinics at Walt Disney World, further enriching their musical education through professional experiences.

In 2025, our program reached new heights by performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Highlights included a masterclass with conductor Helen Cha-Pyo, a city tour with Harmony Tours, and the world premiere of a commissioned piece, “I Would Be True”, written for our ensemble by the renowned composer Kirt Mosier.

We are incredibly fortunate to work with world-class conductors and educators who inspire and challenge our students. Past collaborators include:
