🎶 All-County Orchestra Auditions 2026–2027

All-County Orchestra is a prestigious honor ensemble that showcases the top student musicians from across the district—and you have the chance to be part of it!

🌟 Who Should Audition?

• 🎻 Required for all students in Orchestra Leadership and the Orchestra 5/6 Honors class

• 🎶 Strongly encouraged for all other orchestra students—this is an amazing opportunity to grow as a musician and represent our school

 

🗓️ Audition Process:

1. Pre-Screening (Scales Only):

• Submitted via Canvas in September

• This round will determine if you move forward to the live audition

2. All All- County Dates from 2026-2027

• Aug. 10 - electronic registration opens

• Sept. 30 - registration (electronic contracts) due

• Oct. 14 - payment is due to HCSMC

• Oct. 16 - scales are due to Canvas

• Oct. 26 - teachers are notified who is moving on to live auditions

• Nov. 10 - live auditions (Blake HS, Sickles HS, Strawberry Crest HS)

• Feb. 2 - sectionals / reseating (Robinson HS)

• Feb. 4-6 - rehearsals & performance (Robinson HS)

2. Final In-Person Audition – November 10, 2026:

• 🎵 Prepared Etude

• 🎼 One Scale (selected at random)

• 👀 Sight Reading
